The Role: Social Media Manager
As our new Social Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand voice and enhancing our engagement across various social media platforms. You will be responsible for creating and executing targeted social media strategies that align with Amazon’s mission and drive our customer engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with our business goals and brand objectives.
- Create engaging content tailored to our audience, promoting our products, services, and unique selling propositions.
- Manage and curate content across various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to optimize content strategy and enhance engagement.
- Pioneer innovative social media campaigns that connect with our diverse customer base and enhance brand loyalty.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with larger marketing campaigns.
- Engage with our online community, responding to comments and inquiries to foster a positive brand image.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media and digital marketing to continuously improve our strategy.
- Organize and execute social media contests and promotional events that drive engagement and brand awareness.
- Create regular reports assessing social media performance, offering insights and recommendations to the management team.
What We’re Looking For:
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Proven experience managing social media platforms for a brand or company, with a robust portfolio of successful campaigns.
- Strong understanding of social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content management systems.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with the ability to create compelling content.
- Proficiency in using graphics and video editing software such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar tools.
- A creative mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the table.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- A passionate understanding of the e-commerce landscape and the competitive digital marketing environment.
- Experience with influencer partnerships and content collaborations is a plus.
